“In 2022 my first born daughter started in the 2's class at Marine View. I had asked about good preschools on the local Facebook page and it was one of the top recommended places. Little did I know how much I would come to love and appreciate the school, teachers, kids and community of Marine View Preschool. My daughter was a Covid baby and had barely been in public her first two years, but even her first day of school she proudly walked right in and was always so excited to go. This has continued on for all three years she has now been at Marine View. The addition of Lunch Bunch was also incredible for my daughter having time to make amazing friends that weren't in her class, to get extra play time outside, and meet other adults involved at the school who have now become her teachers.
In 2024 my younger daughter got her chance to join the 2s class and I think because she had been to many events and pickups, as well as the Tots playtime on Friday, she also marched right in to her first day and has been thriving the whole year. My daughters have learned so many wonderful things besides letters and numbers- they practice manners, friendship, sharing, play and imagination. When my youngest first started she was slightly behind in her language, but after 4 months at school her word count is all the way up to normal and she has become so playful!
Marine View has become the most important place for our family. The teachers are so kind and open hearted. Everything from registration, drop offs, lunch bunch sign ups and parent-teacher communication is simple and easy. The holiday celebrations, weekly collection of artwork that comes home, and Christmas and end of the year events are all just snapshots of the incredible time I know my children have the days they attend school. Every month they come home singing a new song from Chapel, or telling us a great story they learned at school or something exciting that happened with their friends. Not only has it set up my daughter for an incredible launch into her Kindergarten education next year, but she has made so many friends in the community, as have I with other parents! I will always cherish my girls' start at Marine View, and that I get to be a Marine View parent for 5 years!

When it came time to choose a preschool for our child, I did not take the decision lightly. After touring multiple schools, we knew the moment we met the Director, Brittany, that Marine View would be our home. Marine View Preschool has truly been a godsend for our family. Our kids beg to go on school days, and it has allowed both of them to flourish academically and socially. I will be forever grateful to this preschool for the wonderful community it has given our family and for the friendships we will continue to cherish.

Some preschools are organized and well run, some are warm and nurturing, some educate children instead of just watching them, but until MVCP I had never found a preschool that did all three.
